Inputs for an accurate quote
Mechanical files (STEP, drawings), harness drawings and pinouts, enclosures or their specifications, labeling and packaging requirements. Most projects arrive with some of this; the file review lists exactly what is missing and nothing is ordered until the package supports it.
Questions about box-build assembly
Can you source enclosures and mechanical parts?
Yes, to your specification and through channels you approve. Custom enclosures requiring tooling are quoted separately with lead times stated.
Do we need complete mechanical drawings?
For an accurate quote, STEP files and assembly drawings are needed. For an initial review, submit what you have and the review will list the gaps.
Can box build be quoted without the board assembly?
Yes, if you supply the assembled boards. Most projects combine the two so the hand-off between board assembly and integration is planned inside one schedule.
